American Release has better music but has more limited characters so the people in the apartment building are projected as bad and peter is also kind of a stereotype not the actor that portrays him.Also violence is fantastical and retarded.

The European version has different music and is also more humane in relation to the characters portrayed and violence is much more relative to mortality so the premise is handled slightly more pathological in the zombies are undead and all of the characters are human or humane.
